Producers operating under Parallel Production that carry out product handling activitiesshall specify at least two Product Handling Units: one for all products that originate from a GLOBALG.A.P. certified production process and another one for all non-certified products.
Product Handling refers to the following post-harvest activities: sorting, packing, storage, chemical treatments, trimming, washing or any other handling activity where the product may have physical contact with other materials or substances.
Produce handling does not cover processing of produce.
