Identification of final, ready to be sold products

Producers operating under Parallel Production/Ownership shall identify all final, ready-for-sale products using either their own GGN/GLN or the respective Sub-GLN(s) (AF.12.1.2). However, the GLOBALG.A.P. Trademarks shall, however, never appear on the product or the consumer packaging.

GLOBALG.A.P. Trademarks

GLOBALG.A.P. owns the trademarks "GLOBALG.A.P." and the GLOBALG.A.P. logo.

AF.12.1.2

Control Point:
Is there a system to ensure that all final products originating from a certified process are correctly identified?

Compliance Criteria:
All final, ready to be sold (either from farm level or after product handling), products shall be identified with a GLN where the product originates from a certified process. No. N/A.
Option 1 producers with parallel production (not buying from external sources) shall use the sub-GLN of the certified PMU to label the certified product. The sub-GLN of the non-certified PMU may be used to label the non-certified product.
Option 1 producers that buy non-certified product (with parallel ownership) shall assign two sub-GLNs to the PHU: one shall be used to label certified finished product and the other one may be used to label the non-certified finished product.
Option 2 = the GGN of the group shall be used to label certified product.

Identification with GGN/GLN

If the producer or producer group acquires a GLN, the GLN shall replace the GGN that was assigned by GLOBALG.A.P.

Identification with Sub-GLN(s)

Producers that have acquired a GLN and assigned Sub-GLNs to their PMUs/PHUs can also identify the product by using the Sub-GLN(s).
